All authors are required to use a rating to determine your stories for the appropriate audience.
All readers are responsible for what they read. If you choose to read a story that does not pertain to your age range or offends you, WhatsYourFiction.com will not be held responsible. You "may" use the "Report a Post" feature to report a story, but all authors have the openness to express their fiction to the fullest.
All authors and readers PLEASE read the ratings below to use for stories and to understand what stories are eligible for reading:

EVERYONE
Titles rated
E (Everyone) does not contain anything that would offend parents whose young child reads the story. This applies to the theme, language, nudity, sex, violence or other matters that parents may deem offensive. Depictions of violence must be kept at a minimal . Absolutely No nudity, sex scenes or drug use are in the story.
EVERYONE 10+
Titles rated
E10+ (Everyone 10 and older) have content that may be suitable for ages 10 and older. Parents may find some material unsuitable for their child. We recommend parents should read the story first to determine if it is ok for their child to read. There may be some profanity as long as not written out completely (the folowing word in full is acceptable: damn) All other cus words should be written as F**K, or “Fluck”, etc. Some depictions of violence or brief nudity is ok as long as very brief and not sexually oriented (ex. someone getting dressed, getting out of shower). There is no drug use content in a E10+ rated story.
TEEN
Titles rated
T (Teen) have content that may be suitable for ages 13 and older. This rating is a sterner warning to parents to determine whether their child under age 13 should read this story, because some material might not be suited for them. A T (Teen) story can go beyond the PG rating in theme, violence, nudity, sensuality, language, adult activities, or other elements. Any drug use will initially require at least a PG-13 rating. More than brief nudity will require at least a T (Teen) rating, but the nudity, generally will not be sexually oriented.” When the nudity is sexually oriented, it will be brief. Depictions of violence is acceptable, but should generally not be “both realistic and extreme or persistent violence. A story’s single use of one of the harsher sexually-derived words, only as an expletive, will also require at least a PG-13 rating.” Cus words other than damn and bitch must not be written out completely (see E10+ rating for details). Think of T (Teen) stories falling along the lines of what is allowed in a day time or prime time soap opera on the major networks/basic cable.
